Aloha was rescued at the Laidley sale yards back in 2015. She was skinny and suffering from itch. Poor Aloha had also been suffering from a foaling fistula, and the worse part was that her vagina was left ripped open for a long-time causing infection and issues. Once she arrived at SAHA and assessed by vets, she required surgery to reconstruct her vagina and anus, so after 3 surgeries and a successful rehab, she was adopted out and spent almost ten years in a loving home.
In 2025 due to change in owners circumstances she has returned to SAHA. She is a lovely big standie mare and would make a lovely companion.
