Artie (Artie’s Dreamtime)

Artie is a thoroughbred gelding who found himself in need of a safety net. After racing he was retrained in showjumping and even competed at the EKKA. His previous family had not long purchased him and got a vet check on some issues but unfortunately as thoroughbreds sometimes do, he made his young rider nervous, and it was not a match up that could continue. They tried to rehome him privately, but were not successful in finding someone experienced enough, so Artie has made his way to SAHA. He will be examined by our vets before being available for adoption.
