Showgirl

Showgirl was surrendered after being rejected by her mum and owner unable to continue care. After brief vet stay for fluids and few stitches for small wound she was taken into care with our sanctuary supervisor administering 2 hourly feeds. As an emergency rescue the call out was made for nanny mare and thankfully a nanny mare was found in Ruby.

Showgirl is growing into a beautiful young filly, Ruby did an amazing job raising her and she has now been weaned, and her new paddock mate is Klaus who has previously been used during weaning as he is a lovely kind gelding. Showgirl is a thoroughbred filly – both her parents are registered thoroughbreds. She is continuing her handling journey and will be available for adoption to an experienced home.
