Toby

Toby came into care as an emaciated, unhandled colt from our largest rescue to date in 2020. A little nervous in the stable, when he first arrived Toby could sometimes react if his space was invaded but he quickly learned to trust and looked forward to his meals being hand delivered to him by our amazing team at the sanctuary. Once his condition improved, he was gelded and began groundwork.

Toby returned to SAHA in 2024 after spending a couple of years on adoption as a paddock horse. Since returning to SAHA he has been under saddle and taken out to the arena and obstacle courses for exposure. He is green and will require an experienced rider who can continue his education and build his confidence. He is a good doer and good to catch, handle and groom etc
