Ty (All Coin)

Ty was surrendered with paddock mate Loxie in 2024 after owners had to sell property and due to ill health unable to continue with his care. He is a lovely thoroughbred gelding that was brought up to date with his vet work, and as part of the OTT program underwent training.

He was adopted out in early 2025 but due to financial circumstances of adopters he has returned to SAHA.

Ty is suitable for low level riding, loves to go out on trails and road rides. Ty is quiet under saddle but can show spurts of checking his rider’s ability, he may decide suddenly it’s time to turn around and head home. Therefore, he needs a rider with the experience and confidence to tell him no, we are still going this way. Ty can flick his head out of habit, so he will need a rider who isn’t perturbed by this. Overall, a kind and enjoyable ride, Ty will blossom under the right rider’s bum.
