Vixen

Vixen was saved from going to the knackery in 2014. She was in horrible condition and unhandled.

Suspected that she was in foal, so she was sent to be scanned however she played up like a naughty pony during the scan, which is the only real reason we can think of as to why the foal was missed.

Then in November, she delivered a little surprise package when Dash was born!

Vixen raised her foal Dash and once weaned she was turned out with the herd just to have a break and be a horse again. She was still nervous but improved with regular handling. She can be difficult to catch, but once caught, is easy to handle.

Vixen was adopted in 2021 but due to change of circumstances, she has returned to SAHA, as with all returning horses she will be assessed.
