Amity and her mum (Neveah)were unfortunately with the groups of mares and foals in the dogger pens at the Laidley sales.
when bidding started we thought she had gone to a private buyer, sadly we found out later this certainly wasn’t the case she had gone to a kill buyer.
We couldn’t let this poor girl who’s life had only just started be ended so soon in such a horrible way, immediately the team jumped to action and started the long process of getting these beautiful girls out of a horrible place.
This was not a easy task but we are happy to say we did it! And they were both saved. Amity had swelling in her back legs and we suspected the worse as she was lame, our amazing vet where on standby when they arrived and she was given a good health check lucky her swollen legs seems to be just From all the massive travelling this little girl has done and she will be fine in a few weeks. Amity is such a sweet little filly Who loves people and attention how could her life nearly have ended the way it was going too.
