Annie

Annie was rescued, in an emaciated state – skin and bones, too weak and dehydrated to stand. Struggling to walk she collapsed on the ramp of the float. Staff managed to get her back to the sanctuary with grave concerns whether she would make it through and whilst there was weeks of ups and downs during her recovery. In her time at SAHA Annie has improved although still a little timid.

Unfortunately, March 2023 scans on Annie’s front feet to investigate her ongoing feet and abscesses it was discovered they had severely deteriorated and on vets’ advice Annie was put to sleep.
