Asti (Asti Chops)

Asti was purchased at the October 2025 Warwick Horse sales to avoid ending up on the dogger truck. This handsome boy came into care at the sanctuary in need of care and love. He arrived with a small lump on his knee which seemed innocuous, however after failing to improve with treatment he was reviewed by our vets in clinic which unfortunately discovered numerous sarcoid growths under the skin. Due to their location vet’s advice, was even with treatment a positive outcome was unlikely, and he would eventually become toxic. So, the tough decision was made to give him his wings.
