Charlie came into care with his paddock mate Ladbroke as owner could no longer afford care. He was a lovely lightly raced thoroughbred had also competed in dressage. He was a lovely gelding on the ground, and as a ridden horse.
Sadly in May 2026 he developed an eye ulcer which had responded to treatment but whilst in rehab he had blood in his urine – he was sent to vet clinic and after seeking a specialists second opinion with a tumour causing bleeding from his kidneys the vets advised only option was to give him his wings.
Run free beautiful Charlie.
