Chrissy was surrendered to us extremely lame, with abscesses in 3 feet. Her abscesses would heal and then more would develop so we arranged immediate xrays. Sadly she has chronic laminitis. The vet suggested trying rocker shoes but they gave no relief. Unfortunately Chrissy’s right pedal bone was deteriorating and it was decided that the damage was untreatable and euthanasia was the kindest option.
