Frankie (Jazz Fusion)

Frankie was surrendered with paddock mate Hennessy after their owner suffering from dementia was put in a home and no longer able to care for his horses. His family reached out and asked if we could take them in. Frankie is a lightly raced thoroughbred broodmare; she is missing her offside eye but won the hearts of everyone who met her at the sanctuary.

Sadly, Frankie had recurring eye issues with her remaining eye. She was sent to Manly Road Vets for Dr Pauline to give her the best chance unfortunately despite her best efforts it was not improving so under vets’ advice Frankie was given her wings.
