Haven

Haven was bought from a knackery near Bundaberg as a heavily in foal mare. We had never seen such a horrific worm infestation and Haven was passing huge amounts of worms before she was even wormed. She had to be wormed three times over 6 weeks to get rid of them all. Unsurprisingly, her huge belly turned out to be from worms and there was no foal. Haven was very ill but gradually recovered with good feed and love. Haven had poor sight and has spent her life in foster care with Jen.

June 2025 sadly Haven was struck down with colic and under vets’ advice was given her wings
