Hayleybird was surrendered by her owner who was struggling to afford her care and unable to keep weight on her. This sweet old girl was a bit of a mystery but tracked down her records and vet assessment determined she has cushings. She was then put on medication and put condition back on. This sweet old girl was a volly favourite as she loved a grooming session.
In late August 2024 staff began to notice a decline in Hayleybird – her age was finally catching up with her and vet also advised she had developed DSLD so the decision was made to give her her wings.
