Mac was a gentle giant. He was super gentle, but all the other horses just did as he told them. He bossed them around with love not nastiness. Mac loved water, baths, grooms and his fave was equissage. At some point in his life, he may have been a successful show horse. He could be a little pushy but other than that his manners are impeccable. He loved to play with anyone and anything and was really just a kid at heart. Mac wasn’t suitable for riding due to his age, so he was never trialled under saddle as he did have a little arthritis in his knee. This beautiful boy was rescued from the Laidley sales in 2014 in emaciated condition but gained weight really well. Once he was looking good, he found an amazing home with some other adopted SAHA horses to live life as a pampered paddock ornament.
Update: September 2025 sadly we received the sad news that old age had caught up with Mac being 34 he was finding getting up a struggle and other age-related issues so under vets’ advice he was given his wings ♥
