Moose

Moose was surrendered to SAHA when his owner was unable to keep him at a healthy weight. He also had an old eye ulcer that required some treatment. Moose had some dental issues so he was fed up slowly with wet feeds to assist him with his eating. He was a very sweet old man but suffered from Cushings for quite some time, even though it was treated with medication and was very susceptible to eye ulcers. Moose unfortunately became unsound and treatment would have required a long period of containment. Given that he had been quite unwell, it was decided that further treatment would not be in his best interest and he was peacefully let to run free over the rainbow bridge.
