Perry was surrendered with a severe injury to her chest caused by fencing. The injury was made worse by a fungal infection caused from Perry having access to a dam. Although the surgery to remove Perry’s swamp lesion on her chest was successful, unfortunately another lesion opened up on her knee and was spreading at an alarming rate. One of the problems with swamp cancer is that there is always the possibility that they can spread. We were advised by our vets to euthanise her. She had a long pampering session and lots of carrots before being laid to rest.
