Salma was purchased by the doggers from the sales in an emaciated condition. She was offered to us as it was suspected she was in foal, however a scan revealed that she had a large worm burden. With a specific feeding program, Salma recovered well and was ready to find her forever home. Very sadly she was rushed to the vet hospital with impaction colic in a lot of pain, but given her age and the type of colic it was decided to end her suffering and she was humanely euthanised.
