Seigo was surrendered to us by his trainer because he has a slightly turned in leg from the shoulder and the trainer knew if he continued to race him he would break down. We spelled Seigo for 12 months and then assessed him under saddle. He was a beautiful horse to ride but unfortunately, he wouldn’t stay sound under saddle. We will continue to monitor his soundness going forward. He is not suitable to be paddocked with mares, as he tries to mount them. He loves other geldings and loves to play and is a charismatic, entertaining character.
Due to changes in Seigo’s knee we have decided he is best to be in our long term program wher he will live out his days in our care.
