Wilbur

Wilbur was surrendered to us in emaciated condition and with chronic scouring. Slowly he gained weight but he never really “picked up”, always lacking energy no matter what feed or supplements he was given. Always alone away from the herd and never happy, he continued to scour. I thought if we got his tummy right he would be more comfortable and happy however we couldn’t get him to stop scouring. We tried everything commercial and natural with no success. Wilbur was 29 years old and having won over $45,000 as a pacer I thought he deserved a nice retirement but he was just too far to gone. Under vet advice we made the hard decision to end his suffering. RIP Wilbur – you will be missed by many xxxx
