Blue was surrendered to us because he had gone down with tetanus. At only 2 weeks old, any hope of survival requires very expensive treatment and he was immediately taken to the University of Queensland Vet Hospital for urgent intensive care. Blue made a complete recovery from his tetanus and went into care with a nanny mare – Pluto and another foal named Freddie.
Blue was broken in at Saha and progressed well under saddle. He can be a little pushy on the ground so needs a confident handler.
