Bronte was rescued from the sales with her colt foal, Thunder, at foot. She was skin and bones when she arrived and exhausted from carrying and feeding little Thunder.
Bronte was not a fan of humans at first either. She would charge, bite and kick to keep everyone away. Quickly she learnt that humans weren’t so bad, particularly when they bring her feed and treats.
With her baby weaned and since adopted, Bronte is looking for her chance for a happily ever after.
Bronte is available for adoption as a companion only due to her age, temperament and unknown past.
She is a smart little mare who can be tricky to catch at times however once you’ve got her she happily goes along with whatever asked. She would excel at being able to bond with someone of her own.
Farrier: Ok for the farrier, currently barefoot with trims 6 weekly.
Catch: Can be tricky to catch, okay once caught.
Medicate: Ok to medicate/worm.
Float: Good to float.
Rug: Ok to rug if taken slow.
