Byron was rescued in emaciated condition with a badly damaged eye. Unfortunately, her eye could not be saved and she was sent to Manly Road Vet Hospital to have the eye removed. Byron recovered extremely well and has coped brilliantly without her eye. She was adopted to a lady who was looking for a companion for her retired competition horse who has also lost an eye.
