Cheerio and his paddock buddy Lightning, were leased out, but when their owner went to check on them, found they had been severely neglected and were almost starved! Sadly, she did not have the funds to bring them back to full health and so they were surrendered to SAHA. Cheerio is in his early 20’s and sadly he isn’t suitable for riding. He is the sweetest horse you will ever meet and is a pleasure to do anything with. He would make an amazing companion horse for someone who wants a no fuss horse to pamper. Cheerio does require hard feeding.
