This filly is a very pretty dappled grey with lovely movement.
When we arrived to pick her up she was in a large yard and was extremely frightened and completely unhandled. It was unsafe to load her onto a float however, we were able to gently push her into a cattle crate and have her transported to the sanctuary safely.
We had to run her into the crush to get hands on her to start with however, now, with a few handling sessions under her belt, she is leading well and learning to trust. She is still very timid, however is progressing nicely.
She is now having short walks outside of her yard and with more work we feel she will be suitable for anything that is taught to her and possibly to become a ridden horse.
Stay tuned on her progress!
