This beautiful man was surrendered as a dangerous horse with stallion like behaviour. He was going to be put down because of his nasty behaviour. But this couldn’t be further from the real Jerry. When he came to us he was very hot on feed. On his toes and full of himself – his ears lived flat back on his head. He was tested as being a rig, which was negative, so we paddocked him and got the hot feed out of him. Jerry must have someone experienced as he does have an attitude on the ground. He is a dominant horse and needs a very strong, experienced owner. Jerry isn’t nasty at all, but he is trying and in the wrong hands isn’t a pleasure to do anything with. Once he knows he won’t win, he is a puppy dog. He has had 5 weeks professional training with Holly Hall Perrin who loved him. Jerry is a pretty man and Holly did say she thinks he will excel in Dressage. He is still learning to canter properly – he tries hard but does jump back into a pace so he will need someone experienced enough to continue his canter training. He is picking it up and taking it all in his stride. Jerry is a quiet pussy cat and just adores being cuddled and fussed over!
