Kahlua was constantly feeding from her mum when she arrived into our care as one of the 10 horses from a property out west. Thanks to her champion mumma Malibu, little Kahlua was the only horse out of the group that was not emaciated.
It was quickly discovered thought that this gorgeous little ‘foal’ was actually going to be 2 years old in March!
While we were waiting for both mum and bub to regain some health before beginning the weaning process, Kahlua quickly went from drinking constantly from mum, to discovering the yumminess of hard feeds!
She is a sweet, confident and inquisitive little girl who we can’t wait to see grow into a lovely little pony.
