We where contacted about a severely emaciated horse that had been abandoned on a property. The kind people picked him up and kept him safe until we could arrange transport to collect him.
He was taken out to our Foster Career to start his rehabilitation.
Kenzie has been vet checked and has a heart murmur which occurs from emaciation, his bloods came back fairly good considering his body score, and he has started to put on weight nicely.
He loves seeing the food cart and calls out to let you know he’s waiting!
Kenzie has been adopted into a forever loving home as a companion horse for another aged gelding. hes living his best life with his new friend.
