Nevaeh(Morning rainbow)

Nevaeh and her yearling foal (Amity) were unfortunately with the groups of mares and foals in the dogger pens at the Laidley sales.

When bidding started we thought she had gone to a private buyer, sadly we found out later this certainly wasn’t the case she had gone to a kill buyer. We couldn’t let this poor mare who is in foal again and her yearling have such a horrible fate, immediately the team jumped to action and started the long process of getting these beautiful girls out of a horrible place.

This was not an easy task, but we are happy to say we did it! And they were both saved. Our vets were ready when they arrived and where given a good check over poor Nevaeh had a cut on her left which had maggots in it which was flushed and treated she is such a sweet mare, she is in terrible condition and in desperate need of good nutrition as she is in foal.

Nevaeh has spent the last couple of weeks being brought back into work. She’s going extremely well and is showing herself to be a quiet riding horse. She is good to catch, trim, tie up and float. She would be suited a home with experience.

Nevaeh is a beautiful loving mare with plenty of personality and she’s ready for her forever home!
