Opal and Pepper were surrendered after their owner passed away and they were left without care. They were both very skinny and in need of vet care and maintenance. Opal was unhandled and extremely timid. With regular handling she settled but is still a timid girl, especially with people she doesn’t know. Opal was brought into work under saddle and was adopted into a loving home but circumstances changed and she was returned back into care.
Opal is still a timid girl but when she trusts you will follow you around the paddock, she is very smart and a quick learner. She is easy to worm and stands well for the farrier.
