Santa was rescued from the dogger pens at Laidley sales suffering from a puncture would to the withers. Her injury means she cannot be ridden but she is a wonderful companion horse. Santa found a wonderful home as a companion horse but sadly her new family were unable to keep her and she was returned to care. She didn’t stay long, and was once again been adopted to a fantastic life in NSW.
Due to a change in circumstances Santa and her paddock mate Billy returned to SAHA in January 2022.
Sadly Santa suffered a ruptured colon in September 2022 and was euthanised.
