Sapphire was surrendered to SAHA from a breeder that went broke. 12 horses came in the space of a few weeks including Sapphire and her full sister Roxy in 2021. Sapphire was then professionally broken in by Stuart Clunes and during this time he noted trail riding to be her favourite.
Sapphire is a nice mare that would however do well in any discipline. She will need an experienced rider as she is still green and learning.
As part of the OTT program, she has done training offsite including some low-level jumping.
