Skylar was rescued from the Laidley sales in 2014 with a young colt foal at foot (Nova). They were both quite underweight and Skylar had terrible teeth and worms.
It was soon discovered, though that we had saved 3 lives with this rescue, as Skylar was also in foal. Her new baby filly arrived on 27 October 2014 and was named Mariah.
She is a beautiful mare but isn’t broken to saddle. She was part of a back-yard breeding program before being put through the sales. Skylar has a wonderful nature but due to her age we haven’t assessed her under saddle.
She is a lovely friendly girl.
