Tempest was purchased from the October 2023 Laidley Sales. An unnamed unraced thoroughbred mare after the sale she was in rehab to improve condition and be brought up to date with her vet work. After completing rehab, the decision was made to offer her a companion as she has a lovely temperament and would make a great paddock mate.
