Zephyr came to us as a stallion in emaciated condition. We had him gelded and with a good diet, he quickly returned to condition. Zephyr spent most of his life as a breeding stallion but you wouldn’t know it if you weren’t told. He is a sweet boy who is quiet to ride and has three nice paces. He has been ridden in our arena without any issues and hasn’t put a hoof wrong. Although we haven’t ridden him out on trails, we believe he would make a nice trail riding horse for a confident rider. We would like to see Zephyr go to a home for pleasure riding, he isn’t suitable for jumping or fast paced work. Zephyr isn’t for a beginner and does need someone who is confident. We gelded him earlier this year and he is paddocked in a herd without any drama. He is also happy to be paddocked on his own with an equine friend over the fence.
