SAHA relies completely on donations and it is a never ending effort of stretching every dollar we receive as far as possible. We always have a list of things we’d love! Hey we can all dream!
If you have physical items in good condition that you’d like to donate, e.g. rugs, we’d love to hear from you!
All donations over $2 are fully tax deductible.
A vehicle capable of towing our float would be amazing. We are always needing transport for horses being moved, picked up and on rescue missions.
We were very generously given a float by Olympic Trailers. Being spread across 3 sanctuaries makes it difficult to share one float. Another one would make the world of difference!
A rehabilitation sling is the difference between life and death for some very weak horses. A must in the rehabilitation of emaciation cases.
Round Yard Rubber
Rubber to line our round yards.
Imagine a set area for washing horses without creating a mud bowl!
Hot Water System
Portable hot water – wherever it is needed.
Fabulous for general maintenance around the sanctuaries.
We really struggle with rug storage for over 100 horses in care.
We always have new horses coming in and requiring new rugs.
We use rakes and shovels a lot!
We have a lot of horses who are under yard or box rest. Keeping them stimulated is a big part of their rehabilitation.
All of our horses are given handling training and if rideable, assessed under saddle before being re-homed.
Essential equipment when dealing with sick and recovering horses.
Collars & Ropes
We are always in need of new headcollars and lead ropes.
Hoof care is a massive part of horse rescue.
These buckets are amazing for feeds.
Everyone loves a treat!
Grooming is an essential part of horse care.
