Arlo came into SAHA after being starved and abused by a horse dealer. He had a large hind leg injury also. He was terrified of people and had to learn to trust again.
Thankfully Arlo came around pretty quick, and we were able to treat his leg to shrink it down in size and get it healing. Arlo is a soft soul and would love to have someone who just wants to give him kindness and comfort. He can be tricky with oral meds, so he would need someone fairly experienced with horses when he needs to be wormed etc. Arlo is also bottom of the pecking order, so he would be a great companion to another horse. We would love to see him find his home.
