Some of these horses had long and successful careers, some of them didn’t even get broken in. 

These horses were earmarked to become racehorses in the future though (before they came to SAHA) so they still fall under the same banner of Track to Hack. 

We currently have a grant from Racing Queensland which helps us to get retraining done on our Off the Track horses and also get our unbroken but bred-to-race horses to the breakers. We are careful about where we send our horses to ensure they get the best start under the saddle. 

Our Track to Hack program is to help transition these horses across from racehorses to riding horses.
