Megsey (My Racing Heart)

Megsey was purchased out of Laidley sales in October 2023. We were told by the girl who put her through the ridden section, that she had been using her to muster cattle and general farm riding. Sadly, Megsey was put through the sales due to lack of feed and the lack of money to support her.

Megsey has been under saddle at SAHA as part of the OTT program, and whilst she isn’t a horse that’s going to win you a dressage competition (although with training she might!!) she will carry you out on trails and be your absolute best friend and confidant. Megsey has a sweet, calm and friendly nature on the ground and is generally easy to handle. Under saddle she is typically relaxed and shows a basic understanding of leg aids and softness. She can experience some separation anxiety, which may cause her to become a little rushy when heading towards home, but she remains willing and responsive overall. Megsey has had exposure to different situations and approaches new experiences with a cooperative attitude.

Megsey is suited to an experienced rider.
