Birdie was last raced in 2001 and was then used as a broodmare, so it would seem she has not been ridden for many years. She was surrendered in light condition but quickly gained weight. Birdie was adopted but came back into care when her adopter’s situation changed. Birdie found a loving home in 2018.
Update December 2023: Sadly, received update for her adopter that Birdie had passed away during a storm 🙁
