Jazzelle was rescued from the Laidley sales in emaciated condition. She was dehydrated and very weak. The vet was called to her immediately upon arrival into care and she was given fluids and pain relief. By the next day Jazzelle’s organs were starting to shut down, she was urinating blood, dehydrated, and she was in pain. She has been given strong pain relief all day, but her legs couldn’t hold her up any longer. After a small amount of grassy hay she started to colic and her large intestine was large and filled with gas. We did not want her to suffer any longer, so on vets advice, we put her to sleep.
