We couldn’t share much about Lilly’s story because she was an RSPCA case. This little pony was one of two horses (the other is still in the hospital) who was rescued in June. Her main diet for 18 years was dog food, which sadly had caused her many health issues. She was 30 years old, almost completely blind and her immune system wasn’t very good at all. But on arrival she was bright and used to having limited vision, so we gave her a lovely paddock mate and she has been happy and comfortable. Sadly, over 3 weeks she went down hill and we made the very tough decision to have her put to sleep.
