Austar was surrendered after his previous own had tried unsuccessfully to re-home him and whose only other option was euthanasia. He is an easy horse to do anything with but does mount mares, so best paddocked with geldings. Austar is looking for his perfect home as a companion horse only due to mild arthritis.
