Monet

Monet is a very striking mare. She is a bay blanket appaloosa of quarter horse build.

When we arrived to pick up the mare she was very scared and very unsure of us. We ran her into a small yard where we were able to catch her with time and persistence. With a quiet hand and calm approach, we were able to safety load her onto the float and bring her to the sanctuary.

She is now in a shared paddock with three other horses (Barloc, Alizè & Kaos) and has settled in well. She is starting to get more curious and coming over to interact better each day.

With some more one on one time with her, our goal is to have her calmer and to give her the confidence to rehome her as a companion horse to the right forever family.
