Stella is a beautiful mare but unfortunately did not pass her ridden assessment. She showed signs of lameness in her shoulder and hind under saddle, however in the paddock she hoons around without a problem. Stella doesn’t stubble and is quiet to handle in every way, so she would be perfect for lead line every now and again with little ones (perfect if you have grandkids come visit from time to time) – but no regular riding. Her lameness was ever so slight, however there was no improvement with chiro and equissage. We would prefer she be retired. Stella was adopted with her paddock mate, Kateena and they have gone to live a happy life in NSW.
