When SAHA President Laura received the phone call from a dogger asking if we wanted to give this mare a second chance of course she couldn’t say no! She was only 7 years old and tracking on her this neglect had happened in 12 months it was just shocking. Romance was transported to the sanctuary where she was vet checked and started her on a re-feeding program as part of her long-term rehabilitation.
Now Romance is looking amazing and has begun assessment under saddle.
