VICES: Oakley has some anxiety tying up which will need to be worked on. While being saddled he is fine. Left standing alone he will paw the fence, show anxious traits.
Oakley can be hot under saddle after time off. No buck or bolt, just high energy.
Oakley is a beautiful Tb gelding who with the right rider will go far. He has natural collection, and just needs someone who can give him the right guidance moving forward.
Oakley was purchased from a sale yard by a team of people and placed with another rescue who could not keep him. He came to SAHA 18 months ago.
He was in fair condition, the reason he was in the sales is unknown. He was sent there long after his racing career ended.
Oakley is ridden regularly, and he has shown no malice. No buck bite bolt or rear. He is a forward moving horse so will need a confident rider. He could be anything you want. A stock horse, a show horse, a trail horse.
We cannot wait for him to find his person.
