Dexter was surrendered lame with recurring hoof abscesses. We had him xrayed and the results were very bad. Sadly he had a Keratoma (tumor in the hoof). Part of his pedal bone was completely deteriorated and there were significant changes around the coffin bone with sinking and twisting. He also has arthritis. He would never be sound so we made the hard decision to end his suffering. I want to thank all of the people who donated towards Dexter’s vet work. You are all amazing. Sadly, we just couldn’t save this one. RIP sweet Dexter.
