Honey Megs

Mare Thoroughbred

Honey was saved from the Laidley sale yards in terrible condition. She was so sick and emaciated we actually thought she wouldn’t make it. She had been used as a brood mare and she isn’t for riding. We never did trial her under saddle due to her having a few issues with her back but she is 100% paddock sound and hoons around the paddock with her mates without a problem in the world. Honey is a TB and does require hard feeding to maintain weight. She is super quiet and beautiful to handle in every way. Honey is a special horse and was adopted out in 2018.

April 2024 SAHA was notified by Honey Megs adopter that due to complications with her health and age on vets’ advice she was euthanised.

Run free beautiful, sweet girl you will be missed by all those lucky enough to know you ♥
