Zara was rescued but soon afterwards suffered several episodes of choke. Her new owners were not experienced with choke and surrendered her to SAHA. So far Zara has improved with a special diet of mushy food and no hay and hasn’t had an episode of choke since she arrived! She is now fat and healthy although she does have cushings which at this stage doesn’t cause her any issues. She will now stay with us until it’s her turn to pass over to rainbow bridge. She is a lovely mare and she deserves her final days to be those of luxury.
